Description


The Storfjorden marine campaign wast the last leg of Arex 2014 cruise that took place on the r/v "Oceania's" way to Poland. It was focused on collecting paleecological samples, mostly bottom foraminifera. Not only samples from surface layer of sediments were taken, but also long cores with use of gravity corer, that will reveal some clues about past climate (Holocene), after the foraminifera (their skeletons) composition, abundance and size analyses.
