Prostomium without eyes or antenna.
Only 4-6 pairs of branchiae starting at chaetiger 4.
No modified chaetae.

Species description
Body short and small. Anterior segments cylindrical, posterior barrel- shape. Prostomium roundly conical. Without eyes or antenna. 4-6 pairs of short, finger-shaped branchiae, starting at chaetiger 4. Notopodial postchaetal lobes the first chaetigers short, becoming longer in the branchial region, posteriorly shorter again. All chaetae capillaries. No modified chaetae on posterior neuropodia. Pygidium with 3 equal annal cirri.
