Distinguishing characteristics
Last 7-9 segments and pygidium rimmed by 2 scalloped longitudinal folds.

Species description
Body with 26-34 chaetigers. Prostomium rounded in front. Dorsally with a pair of short antennae and 2 palps. Peristomium with 2 achaetous and apodus rings. Chaetae of 4 kinds: thin capillary chaetae, shorter blunt capillary, compound chaetae with blunt-tipped blades and 1 enjoined inferior chaetae. Last 7-9 segments and pygidium rimmed by 2 scalloped longitudinal folds arising dorsolaterally and curving across the dorsum. Mandibles with 3 strong teeth.
