Distinguishing characteristics

Species description
Sabellidae with semicircular branchial lobes united by membrane. Collar conspicuous. Three types of thoracic notochaetae; long, weakly bent and winged capillaries, geniculate, short spatulate or subspatulate chaetae and geniculate, winged chaetae. Thoracic neuropodial uncini long-handled, acicular. Abdominal notopodial uncini avicular, with square or rounded bases, neuropodial chaetae capillaries. Posterior part of abdomen without the anal depression. Pygydium rounded or triangular.
