Distinguishing characteristics
Papillae very big, round, extended across the body.
Surface looks like wrinkled, coated with fine sand.

Species description
Anterior 2/3 of body inflated, posterior part cylindrical, without eyes. Epidermis densely papillated with very big, round papillae, coated with fine sand. Papillae extended across the body, surface wrinkled. Notopodial chaetae thin, long capillaries, 1-3 per segment. Neuropodial chaetae of the first chaetiger capillary, the others 3-6 thick, dark spines.
