Actiniaria (Sea anemones)

Sea anemones are predatory, soft-bodied polyps. Most of them live attached to the hard substrate or buried in sediment. In the Arctic system they can be very abundant especially in the shallow subtidal. More information on Arctic Actinaria: www.iopan.gda.pl/projects/biodaff/actiniaria/
