Size
Up to 52 mm.

Tube:
Slightly curved, conical masonry of sand grains, up to 60 mm long and 8 mm wide.

Color
In life transparent, colourless with red gills. In alcohol yellowish grey.

Habitat
Vertical distribution 2-250 m, mainly at depths less than 50 m.

Mobility
Mobile.

Feeding
Surface deposit feeder.

Distribution
Canadian Arctic, East Siberian Sea, Bering Sea, Sea of Okhotsk, Kamchatka, Japan Sea, Alaska, Canadian Pacific. East Greenland, Iceland, the Faeroes, Spitsbergen.
