Thallus bladed, with stalk. Blade olive- or yellowish- brown, folded- undulated, with a prominent flattened midrib. Lanceolate sporophylles developed on stalk. Lithophyte. In sublittoral, everywhere. Common, aboundant. High Boreal- arctic species.
