We were pretty successful - at least traps set near the bottom were full of amphipods, only into the trap set near the ice got only single amphipod.

Then we had to widen the air-hole in the ice...

so we were able to use STD .... and collect zooplankton samples.

We also took some benthic samples from the shallower station (6m deep) and, as yesterday, we stayed in the lab until late night proceeding our samples.
