Distinguishing characteristics
Two retractors.
Without hooks.
Stocky, nonpapillated trunk.
Tentacles are well developed.

It inhabits sand, clay and mud

Unknown

Distribution
In the Arctic and North Atlantic, present in the South Atlantic and Antarctic, rare in the eastern Pacific. From cold water and bathyal depths.
