Event 3 – October 2025
Successful second sampling in the Vistula and Curonian Lagoons with an amazing team! We collected more than 1,200 samples to see how much nitrogen is produced within the system and follow its journey through different dissimilatory processes.

Event 2 – September 2025
We had a fantastic time😎 at the Sopot Science Picnic “Ocean of Changes” (Sept 20, 2025)! 🎉 Our team members Aleksandra Winogradow and Pratha Sivasamy together with colleagues from Instytut Oceanologii PAN - Marine Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, showcased some of the exciting research we do. Visitors had the chance to explore and even try out some basic measurements such as salinity and nutrient analyses.
We also shared highlights to the public,from GLOB project. A big thanks to our funding agencies of these projects NCN and RCL 🙌

Event 1 – April 2025
On April 3rd, 2025, our team members conducted water sampling in the Elbląg, Dzierzgoń, and Pasłęka rivers. This field campaign aims to estimate nitrogen loads entering the Vistula Lagoon – an important step toward understanding nitrogen dynamics in changing coastal ecosystems.
