From 6th till 9th June, 2000 the III Conference on Trace Metals “Effects on Organisms and Environment” took place in Sopot, Poland. The Conference was organized by the Institute of Oceanology PAS and the Biology, Geography and Oceanology Faculty of the Gdañsk University. Prof. Alina Kabata-Pendias was a honory chairman of the Conference.
Altogether 266 participants from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Ukraine, USA and Poland came to Sopot to attend the Conference.
