DESCRIPTION
Colonies pinnate and monosiphonic. Stem wide and flat. Branches inserted on short apophyses, usually opposite but alternate may
also occur in some colonies. Hydrothecae in double rows on stem and branches, nearly completely adnate, aperture circular with
1-flapped operculum. Gonothecae elongate, flattened on top, with circular opening on short pedicel.
