SYNONYMY

Diphasia pulchra Nutting, 1904

DESCRIPTION

Stem sinuous, monosiphonic, with equal internodes (3 hydrothecae and a process for attachment of a branch). Branches ramified, arrange spirally around the stem. Hydrothecae alternating, tubular, distal end narrowed and elongated. Opening oval. Gonothecae located on the upper side of the branches, attached below base of hydrothecae, conical, with two spines on the margin.
