Travel

Sopot can be reached by plane (the Gdańsk international airport maintains daily connections with Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, and Warsaw), ferry (Karlskrona, Nynashamn), train and bus.

The congress venue and Sopot hotels can be reached from the airport by taxi (less than €15). Public transportation is also available. Take bus #110 to the railway station in Gdansk- Wrzeszcz. Take either the city train in the direction of Gdynia or bus #122 to Sopot. This costs less than €3.


Accommodation

Sopot has a variety of hotels offering various standards and price ranges (€30-150 per night). Most of them are located within walking distance of the Congress venue. Participants are requested to arrange their own accommodation. Names and addresses of hotels can be found at the enclosed list.

Less expensive, more modest accommodation in student housing (€10-15) can be arranged upon request. Please contact the Organizing Committee Secretariat.
